India’s Ringg Raises $10 Million to Expand Voice AI
Indian companies are adopting voice AI agents to automate customer interactions and operational tasks that have traditionally required call-center staff. Ringg builds enterprise systems that can converse with users and take actions on their behalf, with customers including e-commerce group Flipkart and fintech company Cred. Its expansion highlights a broader push to move generative AI beyond text interfaces and into business workflows.
Ringg said in August 2026 that it secured a $10 million Series A extension led by Peak XV Partners, bringing the round’s total to $15.5 million. The Indian startup plans to use the funding to move its voice AI platform beyond relatively straightforward outbound calls and into more complex, multi-step automation, including healthcare appointment scheduling and related processes.
