KYCP Revamps COT to Streamline Client Onboarding
Corporate onboarding remains one of the biggest friction points in RegTech, as financial institutions must collect ownership, related-party and compliance data without losing applicants to complex forms and repeated requests. KYCP’s Customer Outreach Tool (COT) is designed to give clients a guided, secure route through KYC requirements, making its usability important to both conversion and regulatory control, particularly for companies with layered ownership structures.
KYCP released COT version 2.1.6 on July 24, 2026, adding a stepped company-structure builder and administrator-set no-code logic that guides which related parties can attach to each parent entity. The upgrade also introduces custom application display names, pre-application HTML messages, clearer customer-facing status labels, section and step indicators, and a mandatory-field completion percentage. For single-entity cases, COT now bypasses irrelevant structure controls and opens the editing screen directly. KYCP disclosed no pricing or quantified performance gains.
