Asus Reorganizes Business to Bet on Physical AI and Humanoid Robots

Asus is broadening its ambitions beyond personal computers and consumer electronics as it seeks to become a full-spectrum artificial intelligence company. Physical AI, which brings AI into robots, autonomous systems and industrial operations, is emerging as a key growth market. The Taiwanese company sees the wider physical-AI and manufacturing ecosystem reaching a trillion-dollar scale by 2035, making the segment strategically important to its next phase of expansion.

Asus said it will reorganize its smart Internet of Things business group in September and rename it the Physical AI Solutions Business Group. The new structure will combine three divisions covering AI solutions, autonomous platforms and humanoid robots. By concentrating product development, technical expertise and deployment resources under one organization, Asus is putting humanoid robotics at the center of its next investment push and seeking to accelerate the commercialization of physical-AI technologies.
