Franklin Templeton Digital Asset Veteran Takes Helm at StablecoinX
Nasdaq-listed StablecoinX is a digital-asset treasury company focused on the Ethena ecosystem. It holds about 3.03 billion ENA tokens, valued at roughly $480 million, making it the largest corporate holder of Ethena’s governance token. The leadership change is significant because StablecoinX’s strategy gives it substantial exposure to ENA and potential influence within the protocol’s governance and broader ecosystem.
StablecoinX appointed Christopher Jensen, a former Franklin Templeton digital-assets executive, as chief executive, bringing experience spanning traditional asset management and digital finance. Ted Chen, the company’s previous CEO, moved to the role of board chairman. Investors will now watch how Jensen deploys and manages the company’s 3.03 billion-token ENA treasury while advancing StablecoinX’s strategy around Ethena.
