ADX Welcomes Morgan Stanley as First International Remote Trading Member
The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange, or ADX, is one of the United Arab Emirates' main capital markets and is expanding cross-border trading through its remote membership program. The arrangement allows overseas brokers to connect to the exchange without establishing a local presence. Morgan Stanley's admission as the first international investment bank to become a remote trading member should improve market access, order routing and liquidity for global institutional investors.
ADX announced Morgan Stanley's admission on May 5, 2026, allowing the bank's clients to trade ADX-listed products directly through its global trading platform. Foreign investors generated more than AED85 billion in trading value in the first quarter of 2026, up 22% from a year earlier. Morgan Stanley is expected to formally begin trading as a remote member within weeks, once operational preparations are complete.
