2 reports · First detected 2026-05-12 · Last active 2026-05-12

TECO Electric & Machinery has more than 20 years of experience in data center infrastructure. Its 2025 acquisition of Malaysia’s NCL Energy established local mechanical, electrical and telecommunications engineering capabilities. TECO is now targeting Dynaciate, a Johor Bahru-based company founded in 2002, to add civil engineering, prefabricated steel structure and HVAC capabilities and support orders for AI data centers and MDCs.

TECO’s board approved the acquisition of Dynaciate for about MYR 200 million, or approximately NT$1.6 billion, on May 12, 2026. The companies formally signed the agreement on May 25 and expect to complete the transaction by the end of August. TECO will then hold a stake of about 78% and begin recognizing revenue and profit from the second half of the year, with a goal of delivering multiple-fold growth in AIDC revenue in 2027.
