Chien Shing Opens Taipei Port Logistics Hub for AI Supply Chain

1 reports · First detected 2026-08-03 · Last active 2026-08-03

Taiwan’s AI server, semiconductor and electronics exports are increasing demand for bonded, temperature-controlled logistics. Chien Shing Harbour Service Co. is expanding beyond traditional port handling through subsidiary Innotech Logistics, whose Taipei Port site combines free-trade-zone privileges with customs clearance, warehousing, trucking and sea-air connections. The strategy targets high-value components that require tighter environmental controls and faster transfers, while bonded operations can defer duties and streamline regional distribution.

Innotech’s Smart International Logistics Center, whose first phase broke ground on May 12, 2023, began providing services in July 2026. The initial phase represents more than NT$3 billion in investment and about 18,708 ping, or 61,845 square meters, of floor space, creating what the company calls northern Taiwan’s largest multi-temperature cold-chain warehousing park. It targets AI servers, semiconductors, medical products and other high-tech cargo; three customers had signed contracts by June.
