MoneyLion Veterans Launch Astraeus AI Wealth Platform
Wealth managers have accumulated separate systems for clients, accounts, products, fees and compliance, leaving data definitions inconsistent and making it harder to deploy AI with reliable firm context. Astraeus was founded in 2025 by Phill Rosen, MoneyLion’s former chief technology officer, and Jon Stevenson, another former senior MoneyLion executive. The startup is targeting investment advisers, wealth technology platforms, private-equity firms and strategic consultancies seeking to replace fragmented operating stacks with a common data foundation.
On Aug. 7, 2026, Astraeus launched its AI-native infrastructure platform, built around a semantic layer and ontology that map relationships among clients, advisers, accounts, products, fees, policies and regulatory requirements. The model-agnostic system is designed to let firms apply different AI models to specific business functions while retaining control of data, governance and decision logic. Astraeus said it has raised more than $10 million from investors including Fintech Collective, F-Prime, Walkabout Ventures and Plug and Play Ventures.
