Tom Lee Says ‘Mini Crypto Winter’ May Be Over, Ether Could Reach $60,000

2 reports · First detected 2026-04-15 · Last active 2026-04-30

Ether is the native asset of the Ethereum smart-contract network. Wider adoption of tokenization and agentic AI could increase onchain activity and drive demand for the cryptocurrency. Tom Lee is a co-founder of Fundstrat and chairman of BitMine. Because BitMine holds a large Ether position, his price outlook also has implications for the company's finances and market confidence.

At Paris Blockchain Week on April 15, 2026, Lee said the “mini crypto winter” might be over. Ether was trading at about $2,327 at the time, down 43% from October 2025. He estimated that a reasonable price over the next several years could be $62,000. On April 30, he also reposted Crypto Patel's projection that Ether could reach $60,000 by 2030, though this remains a high-risk scenario.

Tom Lee Says Ethereum Could Reach $250,000 at Consensus 20262026-06-03 · 4 reports · similarity 0.80

Ethereum is a major blockchain underpinning smart contracts, DeFi and asset tokenization. Tom Lee, co-founder of Fundstrat and chairman of BitMine, believes the growth of corporate validators and the migration of real-world assets on-chain will drive a revaluation of ETH’s network value. In his view, this reflects institutions increasingly treating Ethereum as financial infrastructure rather than merely a crypto asset.

At the Consensus 2026 conference in May 2026, Lee outlined three ETH price targets, including a conservative scenario of about $22,000 and a high-end target of $250,000 if tokenization becomes widely adopted. He also said BitMine was accumulating about 100,000 ETH per week. A May close above $76,000 for Bitcoin could signal the end of the bear market, he added.
