Vercel Launches Free ‘Is Agentic’ Website Readiness Tool
As generative AI shifts from answering questions to navigating websites and completing tasks, companies face a new technical challenge: making online services accessible and usable by autonomous agents. Vercel, the cloud platform for web developers, is extending conventional site auditing to agent compatibility, aiming to help developers identify design and infrastructure barriers that can prevent AI systems from discovering content or interacting reliably with public websites.
Vercel has introduced “Is Agentic,” a free public scoring tool that audits websites against more than 100 checks developed by Ora. The service measures whether a site can be explored, accessed and used by AI agents, then returns an agent-readiness assessment. It is available through a command-line interface, an API and an MCP server, allowing developers and enterprises to incorporate the checks into development and deployment workflows.
