Multinational Operation Endgame Disrupts Malware Crime Networks

2 reports · First detected 2026-06-26 · Last active 2026-06-26

Operation Endgame is a joint effort by Europol, Eurojust, national law-enforcement agencies and private cybersecurity firms targeting malware-as-a-service chains that provide initial access, steal data and deploy ransomware. SocGholish, Amadey and StealC have long threatened businesses and personal accounts. Dismantling their infrastructure can disrupt subsequent fraud and ransomware attacks.

Authorities announced the latest results on June 26 after targeting criminal networks linked to SocGholish, Amadey and StealC, disabling hundreds of servers and blocking multiple associated domains. The operation also seized about $47 million in cryptocurrency and uncovered tens of millions of stolen or leaked account credentials. Investigators are continuing to trace the operators, money flows and accomplice networks.
