Strive’s SATA Rebounds to Within 3% of Par
Strive’s SATA is a preferred-share product used to support the financing strategy of a bitcoin treasury company, with a par value of $100. The security gives investors exposure to the issuer’s treasury model through an instrument that ranks ahead of common equity. Its trading level is therefore watched as a gauge of demand for bitcoin-treasury financing and investors’ willingness to accept risks associated with cryptocurrency-heavy balance sheets.
SATA has rebounded from a June low of $83.30 to about $97 in the latest trading cited by the report, recovering most of its decline and moving to within 3% of its $100 par value. Samson Mow, chief executive of bitcoin company Jan3, said the recovery signals renewed market confidence in preferred-stock products issued by bitcoin treasury companies.
