SK Telecom Partners With Arm and Rebellions on High-Efficiency AI Servers
SK Telecom is expanding its AI infrastructure footprint through a partnership with chip architecture company Arm and South Korean AI chip startup Rebellions focused on server systems integrating CPUs and NPUs. The collaboration aims to improve AI inference performance, reduce data-center energy consumption and strengthen South Korea’s domestic AI computing ecosystem.
SK Telecom, Arm and Rebellions have signed a memorandum of understanding to jointly develop high-efficiency AI servers and pursue the AI infrastructure market. The companies will combine Arm’s CPU architecture, Rebellions’ NPU technology and SK Telecom’s data-center capabilities. Reports have not disclosed the signing date, investment amount or product launch timetable.
