Alibaba Launches QwenWork Globally to Expand AI Agent Push

1 reports · First detected 2026-08-26 · Last active 2026-08-26

Alibaba is extending its Qwen artificial-intelligence models into workplace software as technology companies compete to turn generative AI into practical business tools. QwenWork is positioned as an all-in-one AI agent platform combining multimodal generation with autonomous task orchestration, allowing users to complete office workflows and web-development assignments through natural-language instructions rather than switching among separate applications.

Alibaba has launched the international version of QwenWork in global public beta through web and desktop applications. The platform can interpret a request, organize the required steps and execute tasks including content creation, office work and website development. The rollout marks a broader overseas push for Alibaba’s Qwen product family, moving it beyond underlying model services and into the increasingly competitive global market for AI agents.
