Wistron, NVIDIA Open $761 Million Texas AI Supercomputer Hub

The generative AI boom is turning computing infrastructure into a strategic industrial priority, pushing chipmakers and server manufacturers to bring production closer to US customers. Wistron and NVIDIA’s expansion in Fort Worth, Texas, strengthens domestic capacity for advanced AI systems while supporting Washington’s broader drive to rebuild manufacturing, secure technology supply chains and reduce reliance on overseas production.

As of July 22, 2026, Wistron and NVIDIA have formally opened two Fort Worth sites representing a combined investment of $761 million. The facilities will assemble and test NVIDIA AI servers and supercomputer systems, using NVIDIA Omniverse digital twins and Physical AI technology to improve manufacturing operations. Chief Executive Jensen Huang said AI infrastructure is becoming critical to national competitiveness and could drive a once-in-a-generation reindustrialization of the United States.
