EISO Invests NT$500 Million to Expand High-End PCB Capacity

1 reports · First detected 2026-08-17 · Last active 2026-08-17

Taiwanese printed circuit board maker EISO Enterprise is shifting its product mix toward higher-value applications, including AI servers, low-Earth-orbit satellites, drones and defense aerospace systems. Such products typically demand more advanced manufacturing processes and higher reliability than conventional PCBs. The expansion is important because it gives EISO additional capacity to pursue faster-growing markets while lifting average selling prices and improving profitability.

EISO recently opened the second phase of its plant in Guishan, Taoyuan, following an investment of NT$500 million ($15.3 million). The company said the expansion would raise monthly production capacity to 1.5 times its previous level, equivalent to a 50% increase. The added capacity will support high-end PCB orders for AI and aerospace applications, with the strategic shift already contributing to markedly higher product pricing and operating profit.
