Amazon Launches Sleep Studio Bedtime Feature for Echo Kids
Echo Kids is Amazon's Alexa smart-speaker experience designed for children and families, with an emphasis on parental controls and age-appropriate content. The new Sleep Studio feature extends the voice assistant into children's sleep routines, using a consistent process to help them develop regular schedules. It also expands Echo Kids further into the markets for family wellness and digital content services.
Amazon recently launched Sleep Studio, bringing together stories, meditation and relaxation content from Calm, Headspace and Moshi. Parents can set a sleep schedule in advance, while children can start the bedtime routine with an Alexa voice command. As of July 20, 2026, Amazon had not disclosed the exact launch date, markets where the feature would be available or the amount of any additional charges.
