SoFi Launches Integrated Enterprise Banking for Fiat and Crypto Transactions
SoFi Bank, a unit of SoFi Technologies, is a nationally chartered U.S. bank with direct access to the Federal Reserve. Businesses have traditionally relied on separate banks and crypto service providers to handle fiat currency, stablecoins and settlement. Big Business Banking brings those workflows together on a regulated platform, freeing companies operating across time zones from traditional banking hours.
SoFi announced the new service on April 2, 2026, offering business deposits, real-time payments via API, and 24/7/365 transfers and settlement for fiat currency, SoFiUSD and selected cryptocurrencies. SoFiUSD can be converted at a rate of $1 per token. The initial group of participants includes Mastercard, BitGo and Galaxy among 10 institutions, and the service is expected to use blockchains including Solana. The company did not disclose development costs or fees.
