CoreWeave Plans Three Indonesia Data Centers in Asia-Pacific Push

CoreWeave is making Indonesia its first Asia-Pacific market as surging adoption of generative AI drives demand for high-performance cloud infrastructure across the region. The three-site expansion is intended to provide lower-latency connectivity and help customers meet local data-residency requirements, positioning the AI cloud provider to serve one of Southeast Asia’s largest and fastest-growing digital economies.

CoreWeave said it plans to build three data centers in Indonesia with a combined power capacity of 360 megawatts. The company did not disclose an investment amount, construction start date or opening schedule. Heavy infrastructure spending is expected to widen its per-share loss, though market forecasts point to quarterly revenue more than doubling from a year earlier as demand for AI computing remains strong.
