Inaugural Taiwan Financial Accessibility Excellence Awards Launch to Advance Fair Treatment and Digital Inclusion

The inaugural Taiwan Financial Accessibility Excellence Awards, jointly organized by the Commercial Times and Conan International, are centered on the Financial Supervisory Commission’s Fair Treatment of Customers Principles. The awards assess whether financial institutions have integrated fraud prevention, complaint handling and digital access for older people and people with disabilities into their daily operations, with the aim of ensuring financial services meet the needs of diverse groups.

Judging for the inaugural awards is underway, with the ceremony scheduled for the 18th. The evaluation focuses on anti-fraud measures, the completeness of complaint-handling mechanisms and efforts to narrow the digital divide for older customers and customers with disabilities.
