Crypto Exchange Kraken Becomes Official Sponsor of 2026 FIFA World Cup

Kraken is one of the world’s major cryptocurrency exchanges. Its partnership with FIFA underscores how digital-asset companies continue to use major sporting events to reach mainstream audiences. Co-hosted by the United States, Canada and Mexico, the 2026 World Cup will be the first to feature 48 teams and is expected to draw a cumulative global audience of more than 6 billion.

Kraken announced that it had become an official partner of the 2026 FIFA World Cup and will promote digital assets through fan activities and product experiences. The tournament is scheduled to run from June 11 to July 19, 2026. The parties did not disclose the sponsorship fee, while Kraken has yet to set a firm timetable for its initial public offering.
