Yann LeCun Urges Distributed Governance of Superintelligence, Opposes Control by a Single Entity

Meta Chief AI Scientist Yann LeCun argues that allowing a single company, government, institution or individual to determine its direction would excessively concentrate power and risk. He said companies, governments, research institutions and society should provide checks and balances on one another.
