Taiwan Trust Association Steps Up Digital Innovation Push

1 reports · First detected 2026-08-10 · Last active 2026-08-10

Taiwan’s trust sector has been expanding beyond conventional asset administration into elderly care, retirement planning and services delivered through partnerships with other industries. The Taiwan Trust Association’s “Trust 2.0” initiative has provided the foundation for that shift. Digital technology is becoming increasingly important as financial institutions seek to make trust products easier to access while serving the needs of a rapidly aging population.

Association Chairperson Chiu Yueh-chin said at a trust-sector evaluation awards event that a new trust business development strategy roadmap has been in effect since 2025, extending the Trust 2.0 agenda with a stronger focus on digital applications. Providers will continue upgrading electronic procedures and online inquiry functions while expanding cross-industry alliances. The goal is to build a comprehensive, elderly-friendly ecosystem covering both asset management and care-related needs.
