GenAI Stars, organized by the Ministry of Digital Affairs' Administration for Digital Industries, is entering its third year in 2026. It focuses on innovative generative AI products and internal enterprise solutions. Beyond the technology competition, the program aims to connect Taiwanese startups with funding, subsidies and computing resources, helping them validate their businesses and enter international supply chains.

The third GenAI Stars program recently formally opened applications for 2026 and, for the first time, partnered with electronic design automation giant Synopsys to establish an enterprise track. Selected teams could gain access to NT$10 billion in AI investment resources, as well as government subsidies, computing capacity and industry collaboration opportunities, accelerating the commercial deployment of their products.
