Uniswap Launches Earn for ETH and Stablecoin Yields
Uniswap, one of the largest decentralized exchanges in the Ethereum ecosystem, has expanded beyond token swaps and liquidity provision with a yield product tied to onchain lending markets. The service is designed to let users put idle crypto assets to work without transferring custody to a centralized platform, bringing lending access into interfaces already used for trading and asset management.
The company has now launched Earn on its web application and official wallet, initially supporting ETH, USDC and USDT. Users can deposit assets into onchain lending markets without a lockup period, while retaining control of their funds under a self-custody model. Uniswap said it will not charge a platform fee for the service, though users remain exposed to network costs, variable yields and underlying smart-contract risks.
