ABICO Asia-Backed Agility Integrates NVIDIA AI Safety System
ABICO Asia Capital invested in U.S. humanoid robotics company Agility Robotics in 2025. Agility's Digit robot targets material-handling tasks in factories, warehouses and logistics operations. Humanoid robots working alongside employees require real-time AI computing, sensing and functional-safety certification, making safety architecture critical to moving from testing to commercial deployment at scale.
NVIDIA launched NVIDIA Halos for Robotics on June 22, 2026, naming Agility its first integration partner worldwide. Agility will incorporate IGX Thor and Halos Core into Digit's safety-detection system and join the Halos inspection lab. The platform builds on more than 18,600 engineering-years of autonomous-driving safety experience. ABICO Asia Capital did not disclose its investment, while Agility was valued at $1.9 billion after the funding round.
