Juspay, Recurly Link Hyperswitch to Speed Subscription Payments

1 reports · First detected 2026-07-22 · Last active 2026-07-22

Subscription businesses depend on recurring payments, so authorization failures can translate directly into involuntary churn and lost revenue. Recurly manages subscription billing and customer lifecycles, while Juspay’s open-source Hyperswitch layer routes payments across providers and supports failover without requiring merchants to rebuild their stacks. The tie-up combines billing with payment orchestration as merchants expand globally. Juspay was valued at $1.2 billion after a $50 million Series D round.

Juspay announced the Recurly partnership on July 22, 2026. The integration gives Recurly merchants access to more than 300 PSPs and acquirers through one connection, allowing the company to add payment methods faster and use Hyperswitch’s Platform Organization mode to onboard and manage merchant portfolios programmatically. Juspay says its infrastructure processes more than 300 million transactions daily, handles over $1 trillion in annualized payment volume and operates at 99.999% reliability. Financial terms were not disclosed.
