CTBC Bank and National Chengchi University Establish Family Office Think Tank

CTBC Bank and National Chengchi University are collaborating on family office research focused on corporate governance and intergenerational succession among high-net-worth families. As founder transitions, equity arrangements and coordination among family members become increasingly complex, institutionalized governance structures have become essential to sustaining businesses over the long term.

The two institutions recently established an industry-academia family office research think tank and released their first report on family governance. The report recommends that family businesses draw up family constitutions to turn individual judgment into durable mechanisms for collaboration.
