Alvys Launches Foundry AI Agent Platform for Freight Workflows
Freight software provider Alvys has introduced Alvys Foundry, an agentic AI platform embedded in its transportation management system for carriers and freight brokers. The launch reflects a broader shift in logistics technology from generative AI assistants toward agents that can execute operational tasks. By automating repetitive, document-heavy processes inside the TMS, Alvys aims to reduce manual work, speed up exception handling and keep users from moving between separate software tools.
Foundry is launching with more than 20 prebuilt AI agent templates covering document recognition, detention processing, freight auditing and shipment tracking. Customers can deploy those agents within the Alvys TMS or create workflows tailored to their own operations. The platform allows users to upload standard operating procedures or describe a process in natural language, giving carriers and brokers a faster way to translate internal rules into automated workflows without building each integration from scratch.
