Robinhood Revamps Platinum Card Perks After Customer Feedback

1 reports · First detected 2026-07-23 · Last active 2026-07-23

Robinhood unveiled the invite-only Platinum Card on March 4, 2026, with a $695 annual fee and a 99.9% pure platinum-plated body. Aimed at high-spending customers, the product offers dining, travel and lifestyle rewards and supports the brokerage’s push to become an all-in-one financial platform. At launch, Robinhood said its Gold Card had more than 700,000 customers and over $10 billion in annualized spending.

Robinhood is revising the card after customers said its benefits resembled a “coupon book” and required too many spending hurdles, the Wall Street Journal reported on July 22. Annual travel credits will rise to $1,000 from $800. DoorDash benefits will fall to $120 a year from $250, but the new $10 monthly credit can be used without the previous $50 minimum order. More than 50,000 people requested the card in the week after it was announced, with invitations now going to top-spending Gold Card users.
