Jiuzi Holdings Proposes $1 Billion Equity Swap for 10,000 Bitcoin to Build Digital Asset Reserve
Jiuzi Holdings (Nasdaq: JZXN), originally a Chinese electric-vehicle charging infrastructure company, has shifted in recent years toward a digital asset treasury strategy centered on Bitcoin and other assets. Adding crypto assets to a corporate balance sheet can provide greater flexibility in capital deployment but also introduces cryptocurrency price volatility, shareholder dilution and execution risks.
Jiuzi Holdings said on March 4, 2026, that it planned to acquire 10,000 Bitcoin from an unnamed global digital asset investment institution in exchange for about $1 billion in equity. The deal remains a proposal. JZXN closed at $1.59 that day, up 87.04%, after touching an intraday high of $1.67.
