Google Finance Expands AI Research Tools to More Than 100 Countries
Google Finance has traditionally served investors with real-time quotes, international market news and analysis. It began testing a revamped Gemini-powered service in the United States in August 2025, then expanded to India in November with support for English and Hindi. By integrating AI-powered Q&A, charts and earnings information, the service lowers the barriers retail investors face when researching multiple markets and marks an important step in the global expansion of Google's financial information services.
Google announced on April 8, 2026, that it would roll out the new Google Finance from the United States and India to more than 100 countries, including Australia, Brazil and Japan, with local-language support over the following weeks. Features include source-linked AI research answers, technical indicators and candlestick charts, as well as earnings-call audio, synchronized transcripts and AI insights. The service formally exited Beta on June 25, with the Android app launching first.
