Tesla AI Chip Director Leaves for DensityAI

Sun has formally left Tesla to join DensityAI, an AI hardware startup founded by former members of the company’s Dojo team, according to the latest report. The report did not disclose his exact departure date, new title or any financial terms. The move extends a broader outflow of Tesla AI chip specialists and raises fresh questions about staffing continuity and development timelines for its proprietary chips and supercomputing systems.
