Wall Street Revalues Crypto Companies for Their AI Infrastructure
Galaxy Digital was originally focused on trading, asset management and blockchain infrastructure, and its valuation long moved with Bitcoin and other digital assets. After acquiring the Helios site in Texas from Argo Blockchain for about $65 million in December 2022, the company pivoted toward AI and high-performance computing. That shift has made power, land and grid access new yardsticks for Wall Street’s valuation of crypto companies.
Galaxy Digital shares rose sharply in June 2026 on Helios’ prospects. The company signed a 15-year lease with CoreWeave covering the site’s entire 800 MW of approved capacity, with revenue over the contract term projected to exceed $15 billion. The first phase was completed on July 6, delivering 133 MW of critical IT load and formally marking the data center’s entry into operation.
