Billtrust Connects Real-Time Receivables Data to AI Assistants
Billtrust provides business-to-business payments and cash-flow software spanning invoicing, collections and accounts-receivable risk analysis. As generative AI moves deeper into corporate finance, companies are seeking ways to give assistants secure access to live operational data without adding another dashboard. The effort is important because faster access to receivables information can help finance teams identify payment delays, prioritize collection work and improve cash-flow decisions.
Billtrust has introduced the Billtrust MCP Server, which it says makes its platform the first in accounts receivable to connect real-time AR data directly with AI assistants. Finance teams can use natural-language prompts in Microsoft Copilot and Claude to retrieve invoice, payment and risk summaries without separately signing into Billtrust. The company did not disclose pricing or a specific launch date for the connection.
