Temenos Rehires Tony Coleman as CTO in Leadership Overhaul
Temenos, a Swiss-listed banking software provider, supplies core banking, digital, payments and wealth-management technology to financial institutions worldwide. The leadership overhaul matters because the company is seeking to speed delivery of its product roadmap, deepen AI capabilities and execute its fiscal 2028 strategy. Coleman’s return also restores an executive who previously helped modernize Temenos’ core architecture and develop its cloud-native platform, giving customers a familiar technologist at the center of product development.
Temenos announced the appointments on July 29, 2026, with the changes taking effect Aug. 3. Tony Coleman will return as chief technology officer after more than 20 years at the company, while Cormac Flanagan, a veteran with more than 30 years in core banking, becomes chief product officer. Sriraman Ganesan, who has spent over 25 years at Temenos, will continue as global head of product engineering. Barb Morgan is stepping down as chief product and technology officer, and Daniel Schmucki will join as chief financial officer on the same date.
