Anthropic Eyes $6 Billion Decart Deal to Enter World Models
Israel-based AI startup Decart specializes in world models and inference optimization across different computing chips. It has also released Oasis, a generative video model designed for real-time interaction. World models, which aim to simulate and predict how environments evolve, are emerging as a strategic technology for generative video and embodied AI, drawing growing interest from leading artificial intelligence companies.
As of Aug. 13, 2026, Anthropic is reportedly in talks to acquire Decart for $6 billion, a move that would give the AI company a foothold in generative video and world-model technology. If completed, the transaction would be Anthropic’s largest acquisition to date and would add Decart’s real-time video generation and cross-chip inference capabilities to its expanding technology portfolio.
