Bank of Kaohsiung Board Elects Hsu Tsui-mei as Chairwoman

Bank of Kaohsiung's management reshuffle involves a transition at both the board and executive levels. Hsu Tsui-mei, a former president of the bank, is familiar with its internal operations and business strategy, and her appointment as chairwoman should help maintain its existing direction. The selection of the chairwoman and president will also affect corporate governance, risk controls and the execution of future decisions.

Bank of Kaohsiung convened an executive board meeting on the 4th and formally elected former president Hsu Tsui-mei as chairwoman. The resignation of acting chairman Chen Yung-sheng took effect the same day. The bank subsequently confirmed that Hsu would continue as chairwoman and retained Chang Jung-tai as president, completing its leadership appointments.
