Intuit Rolls Out Conversational AI Across Mid-Market Finance Platforms

1 reports · First detected 2026-08-13 · Last active 2026-08-13

Intuit has been pushing beyond small-business accounting into the mid-market since launching Intuit Enterprise Suite in September 2024. The company is positioning the product as an AI-native alternative to traditional enterprise resource planning systems, while QuickBooks Online Advanced serves fast-growing businesses that need more sophisticated finance tools without a large back office. Expanding Intuit Intelligence across both products matters because it brings analytics, workflow automation and accounting controls into a single platform used by finance teams and their advisers.

On Aug. 12, 2026, Intuit said it was rolling out Intuit Intelligence Chat in beta to eligible U.S. customers of QuickBooks Online Advanced and Intuit Enterprise Suite. The interface lets CFOs and controllers ask questions, identify anomalies, run reports and initiate workflows in plain language, with actions requiring user confirmation. Advanced subscriptions also now include AI-driven bookkeeping and Books Upkeep, which continuously resolves high-confidence transactions and flags exceptions. Intuit said 83% of surveyed Advanced customers get the data needed for better decisions; one customer reported saving about 16 hours a month, while 95% of Enterprise Suite migrations finish within 30 days.
