The history behind this eventEDX Markets Raises $76 Million in SBI-Led Series C
EDX Markets operates a digital-asset trading and clearing platform designed for institutional investors, using a market structure that separates trade execution from asset custody. That model seeks to mirror established financial markets and reduce conflicts associated with vertically integrated crypto exchanges. As banks and asset managers deepen their digital-asset exposure, regulated infrastructure, dependable clearing and access to liquidity have become increasingly important for institutional adoption.
EDX Markets said in July 2026 that it raised $76 million in a Series C funding round led by Japanese financial group SBI Holdings. The company plans to invest the proceeds in its trading and clearing capabilities and advance its application to establish EDX Trust as a U.S. national trust bank. It will also expand its Crypto-as-a-Service and regulated digital-asset operations through FlowConnect™, its institutional connectivity and distribution offering.
