Bitget Launches AI Grid Trading With Automated Token Selection

1 reports · First detected 2026-09-02 · Last active 2026-09-02

Grid trading places staggered buy and sell orders within a defined price range, seeking to capture gains from volatile, range-bound markets. The approach can automate execution but still requires decisions on asset selection, price bands and risk limits. Bitget’s addition of artificial intelligence to its GetAgent Playbook is aimed at lowering those setup hurdles while advancing the cryptocurrency exchange’s broader push into agent-native trading tools.

Bitget has launched an AI-powered Smart Grid feature that automatically screens crypto assets and configures grid-trading parameters, with strategies adjusted as market conditions change. The system rebalances or optimizes the portfolio every four hours and runs risk checks every 15 minutes. Bitget did not disclose a specific launch date, the number of supported tokens, pricing or live performance results, leaving the strategy’s effectiveness to be tested in actual market conditions.

Bitget Launches GetAgent Playbook to Automate AI Trading Strategies2026-06-27 · 1 reports · similarity 0.82

Generative AI trading tools have largely focused on answering market questions, interpreting signals or placing one-off orders, leaving users to repeatedly define their own entry, exit, stop-loss and position-sizing rules. Bitget is positioning GetAgent Playbook as a strategy workflow layer. Its Agent Harness links analysis, execution and risk controls, allowing ready-made strategies to be reviewed, adjusted and run automatically within authorized parameters.

Bitget formally launched GetAgent Playbook on June 17, 2026, for GetAgent Plus and Pro users. Strategies run in isolated subaccounts and maintain audit trails. Bitget said more than 1 million users had completed AI-powered trades through GetAgent and GetClaw during the year, generating cumulative trading volume of more than $1.2 billion. The product also attracted more than 30,000 users in its first week, with over 100,000 USDT in committed principal.

Bitget launched Agent Hub on February 14, 2026, integrating officially maintained Model Context Protocol (MCP) tools with its exchange APIs. The standardized interface allows AI agents to access market data, manage accounts, and execute spot and futures trades. Dedicated subaccounts isolate permissions and assets, advancing AI from an analytical assistant to a market participant capable of placing trades under controlled conditions.

On March 9, 2026, Bitget added Skills and a CLI to Agent Hub, expanding it to nine modules and 58 tools and allowing OpenClaw to connect in as little as three minutes. On May 15, Bitget said its AI trading ecosystem had surpassed 1 million users and generated $1.2 billion in cumulative trading volume. It launched the GetAgent Playbook on June 17, allowing Plus and Pro users to activate strategies in isolated subaccounts with one click.
