Revolut Launches Physical Dogecoin Card to Bring DOGE Into Mainstream Spending
London-based fintech company Revolut has continued to expand its cryptocurrency services after securing a UK banking licence. Dogecoin, originally known for its meme culture, can now be spent through a physical debit card. The move signals DOGE’s shift from a speculative asset toward everyday purchases and brings cryptocurrency payments closer to the mainstream financial system.
Revolut announced its first physical Dogecoin-themed debit card in July 2026, allowing users to spend DOGE directly at merchants worldwide that accept Visa or Mastercard. No additional cryptocurrency conversion fee is charged on transactions, while the amount debited is calculated using the exchange rate at the time of payment, reducing barriers to everyday use.
