Navan, Adyen Scale Global Card Issuing Past €1 Billion

1 reports · First detected 2026-08-31 · Last active 2026-08-31

Navan, founded in 2015 as a corporate travel platform, has expanded into expense management and payments as finance teams seek tighter control over employee spending. The company integrated Adyen’s embedded-finance infrastructure to avoid assembling separate banking, compliance and currency systems in each country. A single connection now supports multi-currency card issuing, automated know-your-customer checks and account funding, while real-time processing lets businesses monitor purchases and apply spending policies at authorization.

In a case study published on Aug. 18, 2026, Adyen said Visa programs operated with Navan across the US, UK and European Union had processed more than €1 billion from the first quarter of 2025 through the second quarter of 2026. The partnership has onboarded over 3,800 enterprise customers in nine markets and recorded a 99.9% transaction success rate. Navan has also expanded its use of Adyen to business accounts for reimbursements and acquiring services for customer repayments.
