Nvidia, MediaTek Launch RTX Spark AI PC Platform
Nvidia and MediaTek are collaborating on the RTX Spark AI PC platform, designed to run AI agents locally on personal computers and workstations. Moving more processing from cloud infrastructure to edge devices could reduce latency and give users greater control over data, while creating fresh demand for Taiwan’s PC brands and suppliers of cooling systems and power components.
The companies unveiled AI PCs and workstations powered by RTX Spark chips, with Asustek Computer and Micro-Star International among the brands leading the initial rollout. The first products are expected to reach the market from autumn 2026. Nvidia also introduced an Agent Toolkit for robotics and automation training, though pricing, initial shipment volumes and supplier order values have not been disclosed.
