STS Digital Launches Institutional-Grade Structured Crypto Products Platform
Structured products package options and other derivatives into predefined payoff structures for yield enhancement, hedging or principal protection. Bermuda-licensed crypto derivatives firm STS Digital completed a $30 million funding round led by CMT Digital on February 26, with Kraken parent Payward also participating. The deal highlights institutional demand for digital-asset investment tools beyond spot holdings and staking.
STS Digital launched its global platform on March 25, 2026, allowing banks, family offices and high-net-worth clients to customize maturities, strike prices and payoff structures across about 400 tokens. Kraken, its first distribution partner, has integrated the platform through an API. The service also supports Kraken's Dual Investment product, launched earlier in March, which allows eligible clients to earn fixed returns on Bitcoin or Ether and receive payment in the original cryptocurrency or U.S. dollars.
