Taiwan FSC Tells Listed Companies to File ESG Data by End-June, Adds AI Support

2 reports · First detected 2026-06-02 · Last active 2026-06-03

Taiwan’s Financial Supervisory Commission continues to promote environmental, social and governance disclosures by listed and over-the-counter companies. Standardized filings and sustainability reports are intended to improve transparency around climate risks, carbon emissions and governance metrics, helping investors assess companies’ ability to operate sustainably while aligning Taiwan’s capital markets with international disclosure trends.

The FSC recently reminded all 1,958 listed and over-the-counter companies to complete their ESG information filings by the end of June and their sustainability reports by the end of August. To ease the burden of compiling data, the ESG digital platform has added an “AI extraction service” that can automatically retrieve relevant metrics from companies’ annual reports for them to verify before filing.
