OranjeBTC Plans Brazil ETF With 95% Allocation to Strategy’s STRC
OranjeBTC, Brazil’s largest bitcoin treasury company, is seeking to broaden local access to crypto-linked investments through an exchange-traded fund. The proposed vehicle would give Brazilian investors regulated-market exposure to securities issued by Strategy, the world’s best-known corporate bitcoin holder, while avoiding the need to buy the US-listed instrument directly. The plan underscores sustained Brazilian demand for cryptocurrency-related financial products.
The ETF, to trade under the ticker DIGY11, plans to allocate 95% of its assets to Strategy’s STRC securities. It will use foreign-exchange forward contracts rolled monthly to hedge US dollar exposure against the Brazilian real, while 3R Investimentos will manage the portfolio. OranjeBTC expects the product could begin trading as early as the start of September, subject to the remaining launch arrangements.
