SAS Upgrades Data Management Platform, Previews Quantum AI Tool
Companies seeking to adopt generative AI are often constrained by fragmented data, migration costs and governance requirements. SAS has upgraded its data management platform to let businesses run analytics and AI applications where their data resides, reducing duplication and migration while balancing performance, cost and data security.
SAS announced the new data management capabilities at its annual conference and said Quantum Lab would launch in the fourth quarter of this year to help companies assess the practical value of combining quantum computing with AI. The company has not disclosed an exact release date or pricing, and the tool’s impact will depend on the results of corporate testing and adoption.
