Machi Big Brother Launches TAIWAN Meme Coin on Robinhood Chain
Jeffrey Huang, the Taiwanese-American entrepreneur and crypto trader known as Machi Big Brother, launched Taiwan Coin (TAIWAN) on Robinhood Chain. The meme token was paired with TSM, a tokenized representation of Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. shares, linking speculative crypto trading with the emerging market for tokenized equities and prompting debate over the use of stock-linked assets as pricing units.
The issuance comprised 1 billion TAIWAN tokens. Within five minutes of trading, the token’s market capitalization climbed to about $1.587 million before plunging roughly 88% from its peak. On-chain records showed that the issuer retained no tokens and transferred the entire supply into the liquidity pool, limiting direct creator holdings but leaving traders exposed to sharp price swings and liquidity risk.
