Ant Bank, Bettr Join Hong Kong GenAI Sandbox++ for Liquidity AI
Hong Kong’s GenAI Sandbox++, backed by the Hong Kong Monetary Authority and Cyberport, is designed to help financial institutions test artificial-intelligence applications in a controlled environment while addressing governance, data and regulatory risks. The selection of digital lender Ant Bank and financial-solutions provider Bettr for the liquidity-risk-management track signals that generative AI is moving beyond customer service into banks’ core treasury operations.
Ant Bank and Bettr will deploy Ant International’s Falcon TST 2.0 time-series AI model to produce precise daily forecasts for real-time funds management. The project is intended to help banks anticipate cash requirements and manage liquidity more efficiently. The announcement did not disclose an investment amount, testing dates or forecast-accuracy targets, leaving the model’s operational performance to be assessed during the sandbox program.
